Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 Your Agreement With Us

Your agreement is with Precision One Health and Fitness Limited, a private company (Company No. 14817698) limited by guarantee, registered in England & Wales (“the Gym”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

1.2 Membership Agreement

These Terms & Conditions form part of your membership agreement with us and replace any previous versions.

Your membership agreement consists of:

  • These Terms & Conditions; and

  • The Gym Rules of Use and Conduct.

Together, these documents form a legally binding agreement between you and the Gym. Please read them carefully before joining.

1.3 Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a membership and accessing the facility, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions and all applicable gym rules and policies.


2. Starting Your Membership

2.1 Commencement Date

Your membership begins on the date that you complete registration and payment through our ClubRight membership platform.

2.2 Standard Monthly Membership

For Standard Monthly memberships, payments are collected on the 1st day of each month.

If you join part-way through a month, your first payment will be calculated on a pro-rata basis to cover the remaining days of that month. Your normal monthly payment schedule will then begin on the 1st day of the following month.

2.3 Fixed-Term Memberships

For 3-month, 6-month and 12-month memberships, payment is made in advance.

Your membership commences from the date payment is received and remains active for the agreed membership term.


3. Membership Eligibility and Types

3.1 Age Requirements

Membership is available to individuals aged 16 years and over.

Members aged 16–17 must have appropriate parental or guardian consent before joining.

3.2 Membership Packages

We currently offer the following membership options:

  • Standard Monthly Membership;

  • 3-Month Membership;

  • 6-Month Membership;

  • 12-Month Membership.

Membership options, pricing and availability may change from time to time.

3.3 Trial Passes


Only active members and authorised trial users, who have obtained access through the gym's official booking process, may enter the facility.

Trial gym passes may be purchased through our website or the ClubRight app.

A trial pass is a one-time purchase and may only be used once per individual.

Trial access is subject to the same facility rules and safety requirements as full membership access.

3.4 Pilates Studio Membership

Access to the Pilates Studio is not included within standard gym memberships.

A separate Pilates membership or authorised booking is required to access and use the Pilates Studio.


4. Membership Fees and Payments

4.1 Fees

Membership fees are determined by the membership package selected at the time of joining.

Current fees are displayed during the joining process through ClubRight and may also be displayed on our website.

4.2 Payment Responsibility

Membership fees remain payable regardless of whether you choose to use the facilities.

Failure to use the gym does not suspend or cancel your payment obligations.


5. Cancellation, Changes and Freezing

5.1 Online Cooling-Off Period

Where you purchase membership online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period in accordance with applicable consumer rights legislation.

If you cancel within this period, payments may be refunded provided the membership has not been used.

Where the facility has been accessed or used, refunds may not apply except where required by law.

5.2 Cancellation After the Cooling-Off Period

After the cooling-off period, cancellation requires 30 days’ written notice.

Membership fees remain payable throughout the notice period.

Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to:

5.3 Membership Freezing

Membership freezes may be requested for valid reasons, including:

  • Pregnancy;

  • Serious illness;

  • Injury;

  • Redundancy.

Freeze requests must be submitted in writing to:

precision1coaching@gmail.com

Membership freezes:

  • Must apply to complete calendar months only;

  • Are subject to approval;

  • Are limited to a maximum period of 6-months.


6. Facility Access and Opening Hours

6.1 Opening Hours

The Gym operates during the following hours:

Monday–Friday: 6:00am – 8:00pm*
Saturday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Opening hours may change from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated through appropriate channels.

*Members should note that access to specific areas in the gym may be inaccessible, for the purpose of group coaching, between the hours of 7pm-8pm (Monday-Friday). Group training is scheduled on a quarterly basis and changes to access will be communicated via the ClubRight membership system.

6.2 Access Control

Access to the Gym requires members to use their unique QR code through the ClubRight Member App.

Members may alternatively purchase an access card from reception for a fee of £2.

Access credentials are personal to the registered member and must not be shared with any other person.


7. Unmanned Gym Operation and Member Responsibilities

7.1 Unmanned Operation

Members acknowledge that the Gym may operate at times when no members of staff are physically present on site.

While we aim to provide staffed hours wherever possible, members understand that staffing levels may vary and that periods of unmanned operation may occur during normal opening hours.

7.2 Responsibility During Unmanned Hours

When using the Gym during unmanned periods, members are responsible for exercising within their own abilities and taking reasonable care of their own health, safety and wellbeing.

Members acknowledge that an unmanned facility carries additional risks, including the absence of immediate staff assistance.

By accessing the facility during unmanned periods, members voluntarily accept these risks and agree to act responsibly.

7.3 Emergency Support

Emergency contact information and procedures are displayed throughout the facility.

Panic alarms are located in central, visible positions on both the upstairs and downstairs areas of the Gym.

Members should use emergency services where urgent medical, fire or police assistance is required.

Members must report accidents, injuries, faults, damage, safety or behaviour concerns to the Gym as soon as reasonably practical.


8. Health, Fitness and Exercise Responsibility

8.1 Medical Fitness

By joining the Gym, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, you are medically fit to participate in physical exercise.

You are responsible for seeking medical advice before exercising if you have any condition, injury, illness, pregnancy or health concern that may affect your ability to exercise safely.

8.2 Exercising Within Your Ability

Members must exercise within their own capabilities.

You must immediately stop exercising if you experience pain, dizziness, illness or any symptoms that may place your health at risk.

8.3 Gym Inductions

Gym inductions are strongly recommended for all new members.

Inductions can be booked through the ClubRight Member App or by contacting the Gym.

Members who choose not to complete an induction accept responsibility for ensuring they understand how to safely use any equipment.

Members must not use equipment they do not understand or do not feel competent using safely.

Members are strongly encouraged not to attempt maximal or near-maximal lifts without appropriate supervision or a suitable spotter.


9. Gym Use, Conduct and Safety

9.1 Hygiene Standards

Members must maintain appropriate hygiene standards, including:

  • Cleaning equipment after use;

  • Using bins appropriately;

  • Maintaining suitable personal hygiene.

9.2 Equipment Use

Members must:

  • Return equipment after use;

  • Replace weights, plates, bars and accessories correctly;

  • Use equipment only for its intended purpose.

Members must not:

  • Drop weights unnecessarily;

  • Allow cable stacks to slam;

  • Misuse equipment in a way that may cause damage or injury.

9.3 Clothing Requirements

Members must wear appropriate training clothing and suitable closed-toe athletic footwear unless otherwise authorised.

Removal of shirts or clothing for posing, photography, filming or training on the gym floor is not permitted.

9.4 Member Behaviour

Members must behave respectfully towards staff, other members and visitors.

The following behaviour is prohibited:

  • Aggressive or threatening conduct;

  • Discriminatory behaviour;

  • Excessive shouting or swearing;

  • Reckless or unsafe behaviour.

The Gym reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships where behaviour creates a risk to others or the facility.


10. CCTV and Security

10.1 CCTV Monitoring

CCTV operates throughout the facility for:

  • Safety;

  • Security;

  • Crime prevention;

  • Incident investigation.

CCTV operates throughout the facility and records continuously. Whilst footage may be reviewed where necessary, members acknowledge that the CCTV system is not continuously monitored by staff in real time.

CCTV is not installed within changing rooms.

10.2 Access Security

Members must not:

  • Allow unauthorised persons entry;

  • Hold doors open for others to enter;

  • Interfere with access systems or security equipment.


11. Personal Property

Members are responsible for their own belongings whilst using the facility.

The Gym accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where liability cannot be excluded by law.


12. Refunds and Transfers

Memberships are non-refundable except where required by law.

Memberships are personal and cannot be transferred to another individual.


13. Closures and Unexpected Events

13.1 Bank Holidays and Planned Closures

The Gym may close for public holidays, maintenance, seasonal breaks or other operational reasons.

Where possible, members will be provided with reasonable notice.

13.2 Force Majeure

A Force Majeure Event includes events outside the reasonable control of the Gym, including but not limited to:

  • Fire;

  • Flood;

  • Pandemic;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Power failure;

  • Civil unrest;

  • Industrial action;

  • Other events preventing normal operation.

During a Force Majeure Event, the Gym may temporarily suspend services without liability for losses caused by the interruption.

Membership extensions or other remedies may be considered at the Gym’s discretion, subject to applicable law.


14. Liability

14.1 Member Responsibility

Members are responsible for exercising safely and using equipment appropriately.

14.2 Limitation of Liability

The Gym is not responsible for injury, illness, loss or damage except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.


15. Data Protection

15.1 Personal Information

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on our website.

15.2 Communications

By joining the Gym, you consent to receiving essential membership communications, including:

  • Account updates;

  • Facility notices;

  • Changes to services;

  • Important safety information.


16. Suspension and Termination

The Gym reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where a member:

  • Breaches these Terms & Conditions;

  • Creates a safety risk;

  • Misuses facilities;

  • Allows unauthorised access;

  • Behaves inappropriately towards others.

No refund will be provided where membership is terminated due to member misconduct.


17. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
